Worcestershire Healthy Minds provide a range of support to help you improve your mental wellbeing and offers the below. We often advise that a course is attended prior to engaging in one-to-one treatment.

Short Courses
We offer short psychological educational courses that are run within a group setting. We are currently offering the below courses:


Worcestershire Healthy Minds provides the courses for people who want to understand more about their difficulties and develop skills and techniques to manage and cope with these problems.

Self Help
We can provide you with self-help materials in the form of self-help books, hand-outs, useful websites and CDs. These materials aim to teach you skills that you can use to help overcome your difficulties and improve your emotional well-being.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy 
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a widely used therapy that helps people overcome emotional problems. It is a talking therapy that is recommended for the treatment of depression and anxiety.

Counselling
Counselling aims to assist in the development of coping skills and resources.

Online and Computerised Psychological Therapies

We are delighted to introduce our new online partner; Big White Wall - an award-winning, market leading digital mental health service. They offer online treatment for adults experiencing emotional distress. Big White Wall provides:

  • immediate access to treatment and support
  • allows you to have appointments at a time that suits you
  • appointments available evenings and weekends
  • choice of therapist based on other patient’s feedback
  • choice of whether therapy sessions are delivered through instant messaging, audio or via webcam
  • guided support and online group work

Psychological Therapy
Psychological therapy assists people to explore and deal with a wide variety of complex mental health, personal and relationship problems.

Gateway Workers
Gateway Workers are qualified mental Health Practitioners, usually a mental health nurse, social worker, occupational therapist or clinical psychologist, experienced in the assessment and treatment of mental health problems. Click here for the latest on Gateway workers
