  • Mental health assessment/consultation
  • Advice and psycho-education regarding common mental health problems
  • Sign-posting to other agencies and mental health resources
  • Some brief psychological interventions
  • Anxiety management and depression management groups

  • Crisis and Home Treatment
  • Community Mental Health Teams

Availability of service

Services are available between 9am and 5pm on specific days within different GP surgeries.

 

Geographical area covered by each team

South Worcestershire:

Worcester City, Malvern, Wychavon

 

Redditch:

St Stephen's Surgery, Winyates Health Centre, and Hillview Medical Centre only

 

Bromsgrove:

Services are currently under development. Patients requiring this service will visit their GP who may refer them to the Primary Care Counsellor or the Psychology Department.

 

Wyre Forest:

Service are currently under development. Patients requiring this service will visit their GP who may refer them to the Primary Care Counsellor or the Psychology Department.
