How Do I Refer?
If you are concerned about your child's speech, language, communication or feeding/swallowing - advice and referral can be made through your GP, Health Visitor, School Nurse or other professionals who may be involved with your child. You are also welcome to ring your local Speech and Language Team.

Schools, Nurseries and other child care settings can also refer on parent's behalf. Referral forms are available for those settings to download (click on the appropriate form below). Please note that to use these forms signed parental consent is needed. Any referrals without consent will not be accepted.

Speech & Language Drop-in sessions
The Drop-in sessions are held at various Children's Centres across Worcestershire. These are for parents of pre-school children to come along for some initial advice on their child's speech and language skills. If appropriate your child may be referred at this point for further assessment.
