Willows Ward

This is a twenty bedded stroke unit that takes referrals from Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The Willows is an established specialist stroke rehabilitation unit set within Evesham community hospital.

The team strive to promote a professional, friendly environment in which patients are able to participate in an intensive programme of rehabilitation.

The team encourages a 24 hour approach to rehabilitation, which means that every activity on the unit from washing and dressing to getting in and out of bed and on and off the toilet are treated as an important part of rehab.

Rehab is therefore not restricted to those parts of the day that you are with the therapists.
