Gaining experience

As a Trust we aim to broaden the ways into training and employment in the NHS to attract more young people and improve diversity within the workforce. Our work experience placements allows individuals to see what NHS jobs are really like and may confirm their career choice or open their eyes to other options not previously considered.

Starting the journey

Through our award winning in-house apprenticeship programme, SHINE, we can offer you an exciting, challenging and fulfilling start to your NHS career. Apprenticeships open doors for you into the NHS where you earn while you learn. Many of our apprentices have gone on to secure permanent jobs in our Trust, other NHS or public sector bodies, or start their professional nursing training.
