Living With a Long Term Condition


A Long Term Condition is defined as a condition that cannot, at present be cured; but can be controlled by medication and other therapies. Examples of Long Term Conditions are diabetes, heart disease and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

There are approximately 26 million people in England that are living with at least one long term condition. If you are living with a respiratory problem or diabetes we can help.

Living Well with Respiratory Problems course

Having a long term condition such as asthma or COPD can affect all areas of our life, not just our physical health. The Living Well with Respiratory Problems course is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT looks at how our thoughts and behaviour affect the way we feel.
