What you can expect from us:

All staff will ask you how you would like to be addressed.

You will be looked after in a clean and safe environment.

You will be kept up to date with information regarding your progress and you will be given an estimate of how long you can expect to be in hospital.

All staff will conduct themselves in a professional and dignified manner.

Any of your personal and health related information will be treated confidentially. A private room for discussions will be made available on request.

You will be treated with respect at all times, in an environment committed to privacy and dignity.

Staff will show you around the care environment and the facilities available for your use.

Any concerns will be dealt with in a prompt and professional manner.

All staff will endeavour to meet your health needs in a timely manner but not to the detriment of other patients they may be caring for.

All care will be delivered in line with best practice.


What we can expect from you:

We ask you to be polite, courteous and nonthreatening to our staff and the other patients.

We ask you to actively participate in your treatment and to work with staff within the ward to support your discharge from hospital.

To facilitate your discharge we ask you
to identify on admission any reasons why you may not be able to return to your home address.

If you have any concerns we value your constructive and honest feedback. Please ask to speak to a member of staff.
