Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust (the Trust) was established on Friday 1 July 2011 to manage the vast majority of the services which were previously managed by Worcestershire Primary Care NHS Trust's Provider Arm, as well as the mental health services that were managed by Worcestershire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

The Trust provides a comprehensive range of community, mental health, dental and sexual health care and learning disability services, including specialist services such as eating disorders and specialist children's services to the population of Worcestershire.

The Trust covers the whole of Worcestershire, a mixed and urban area of over 500 square miles, covering the city of Worcester together with the towns of Kidderminster, Stourport, Bewdley, Tenbury Wells, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich, Evesham, Pershore, Malvern and Upton on Severn.

Patient Relations Team

The Trust operates a Patient Relations Service which is available to assist patients, carers and members of the public to find information about health services, or to try to resolve any difficulties they may be experiencing with the local NHS. To contact Patient Relations telephone 01905 681517 or email WHCNHS.PALS@nhs.net

You have the choice of either taking your concerns to the Patient Relations Team or registering them as a formal complaint with the Patient Relations Team.

Complaints and their outcomes are reported to the Trust Board.

Guidance and Information Leaflets

A range of guidance and information leaflets are produced to support anyone using our services and can be found on the Live Well section of the Trust website. If you can't find what you are looking for or for more information please contact our patient relations team.

Communications with the Press and Media Releases - Our releases to the press and the media

Press releases and responses to the media are issued whenever there is an issue to share. The Trust is committed to being open and accessible and is keen to develop a good relationship with the local media.
