We have met with local procurement experts as part of our work to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. We also intend to organise co-production events to review how digital and technological solutions could be implemented across all our workstreams. We are aligning with Coventry and Warwickshire NHS/STPs to bring a larger opportunity for clinical consumer items spend.
Digital:
Discussions (subject to available capital funds) commenced on creating a single PACS (Primary and Acute Care Service) System interface.
Medicines Optimisation:
Increasing the use of bio-similar medications to deliver patient outcomes while controlling spend.
