Amanda Wright, Community First Programme Manager Health and Wellbeing said, “We offer a wide range of courses and workshops designed to take each individual on a journey, however short or long, to find not only new skills, but the knowledge and understanding of what health and wellbeing and recovery means to them.

“Whether you have experienced mental health difficulties, want to support your mental wellbeing or just want to learn new skills, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Wellbeing and Recovery College is here for you.”

Stephanie Danby, Outreach Coordinator at New Opportunities Worcestershire said: “New Opportunities Worcestershire is an NHS service designed to help people in their mental health recovery through a range of meaningful activities.

“We run courses in small groups to improve social skills, self-confidence, self- esteem, motivation and concentration. Available to those who are unable to access community activities independently, the activities are facilitated by both experts by training and experts by experience.

Being part of the Wellbeing and Recovery College has given us a great shop window to tell more people about what we do, and to be able to show our clients what else is available for the ‘next step’ in their recovery.”
