Anchor - Emotional Health and Wellbeing Team

Anchor logo We are a team dedicated to the emotional health and wellbeing of Looked After Children from 0-18 years of age. Our service is made up of professionals working together from the NHS and Worcestershire County Council.

About us

Our aim is to ensure that Looked After Children and young people are able to thrive with carers who understand and are supported to meet their needs.

Anchor also provides support and guidance to the professionals to help them to develop an understanding of the impact of early adversity on a child’s development.

We work alongside the Green Fingers Project. They offer therapeutic play, activities and alternative education opportunities. Find out more about Green Fingers: Green Fingers Project | A healthy lifestyles project for 'Looked After Children' and carers.
