Recognising our new national clinical uniforms

Two pharmacy staff in clinical uniform

As of April 2026, our clinical staff will wear the new NHS national healthcare uniforms.

These uniforms will help you easily recognise different roles across the Trust. These also bring greater consistency across the NHS.

The design and colours for each role were agreed by NHS England, NHS Supply Chain and professional healthcare bodies.

Because the uniforms are long-lasting and made from sustainable materials, they produce less waste and save the NHS up to 30% on ordering costs.

You can see the colours for each role below, along with pictures of our colleagues in their uniforms.
