Adult Mental Health Pre-consultation events 2024

You are invited to have a say on the Trust’s Adult Mental Health Inpatient and Rehabilitation Pathway.

We have a range of adult mental health wards which offer support during an acute crisis, including inpatient assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients with complex mental health needs. While in our care, patients will be looked after by staff who are skilled to deliver the right response to support recovery and wellbeing.

Who is invited?

Anyone who has an interest in Adult Mental Health Inpatient and Rehabilitation Services within Herefordshire and Worcestershire is welcome to sign up. This includes patients, carers, staff, interested members of the public and any partner services or organisations.

What will happen at the event?

During the event there will be a presentation to explain the current service offer, the issues, and our ideas. We will describe the ‘Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT)’ methodology that we are using to help us with this. There will then be an opportunity to share your feedback, and to discuss any ideas you have.

When and where?

  • Monday 4 March from 18:00-19:30 Online
  • Tuesday 5 March from 14:30-16:00 Online

Hill Crest Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit Listening Events

In November 2023 the Trust invited interested parties to share feedback about Hill Crest, our adult mental health inpatient unit in Redditch. As Hill Crest is used by people from Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the Trust hosted listening events across the two counties, along with online meetings.

Update: February 2024

We continue to work through the invaluable feedback gathered at the Hill Crest listening events that were run during November 2024. Huge thanks once again to everyone who attended, either in person or virtually, and contributed. Attendees included staff, the voluntary sector, professional sector, patient participation partners and patients and their carers and families. We aim to publish our report of findings in the spring and thank you for your patience whilst feedback is carefully considered.

If you have any questions, or would like to leave any feedback in the meantime please email the  Community Engagement Team.
