A vasectomy is a permanent type of contraception. It may be suitable if:

  • you already have children and do not want any more
  • you do not want to have children

A vasectomy is a very effective method of contraception, with a success rate of over 99%. It has a low risk of problems and can usually be performed by our team at the Orchid Suite in Worcester.

Referrals

Make an appointment at your GP surgery if you’re thinking about having a vasectomy. A nurse or doctor can explain what’s involved, the possible risks and answer any questions to help you decide whether you want to have a vasectomy.
