It was recently announced that the Trust has been recognised as one of the most ‘consistently high performing’ NHS organisations in the country as part of an NHS England review.

As October draws to a close, I would like thank colleagues from across the region who have delivered a commendable line up of events and activities to mark Black History Month.

The past year and a half has presented challenges never before seen in the history of the NHS. The pandemic has commanded skill, determination, compassion and resilience from our staff, whom have graciously adapted to new ways of working and maintained the safe delivery of our services.

This week has been national Pride in the NHS Week, an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of the LGBT+ community in the NHS and beyond.
