Our new patient portal - Coming soon!
We are making it easier for you to access information about your care online through our new patient portal.
Working with Patients Know Best (PKB), the portal will provide a secure way to view information about your appointments and care from our services. You will be able to access this information through the patient portal, with links available through the NHS App.
This is the first step in a wider programme of digital improvements designed to give you better access to your healthcare information and make it easier to manage your care online.
We are currently developing and testing the service and expect it to launch in early 2027. We will share more information about how to register for and use the patient portal closer to launch.
Patients Know Best (PKB)
Patients Know Best (PKB) is a secure online patient portal that connects with the NHS App, allowing you to view information about the care you receive from our services. If you do not use the NHS App, you can also access your patient portal directly through the Patients Know Best website. This gives you a convenient way to view your health information online and stay informed about your care.
PKB meets all national NHS standards for information governance, security and data protection. The system undergoes regular independent security testing and holds nationally recognised certifications for both security and data privacy. We chose PKB because it meets the strict requirements expected of NHS health record systems. View our privacy notice.
All personal and health information stored within PKB is encrypted and protected. Only you, the people you choose to share information with (proxy access) and authorised healthcare professionals involved in your care can access your records.

As we get closer to the planned launch in early 2027, we will share information on how to register for and use the patient portal.
If you already have an account with Patients Know Best (PKB), you may be able to see some basic information and appointment details in the portal before then.
If you have any questions about the information shown, or about an upcoming appointment, please contact the team looking after your care using the details on your printed appointment letter.
We will update this page with information on how to use and manage your portal account once the portal is available to all patients.
