Admiral Nurses

What is an Admiral Nurse?

Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses. They provide life-changing support for families facing dementia, helping to prevent or manage complex issues. They can give tailored health advice and emotional support and help build links with other health and care professionals. For many families, they can be a lifeline.

John's Campaign

Johns campaign logo

We are an organisation that supports John’s campaign. We have made pledges for our inpatient services that “carers should not just be ‘allowed’ but should be welcomed”

We pledge to work in partnership with our carers and family members. In our dementia wards, carers are able to be part of meal-times and can visit whenever they need. Although it is not always possible, we would aim to do our best to support overnight stays if this were requested.
