She talks about how she manages with the diagnosis and what has helped her to have an inspirational, positive attitude towards life.

Dementia Wellbeing Service:

Provided by Age UK, they have close links with ours and other services locally. They have a good knowledge of the services available in the area and can act as a first point of contact. The Dementia Cafés are also run by Age UK.  The cafés are well attended and offer a chance to socialise, share experiences, and have fun. Tel: 0333 038 3711.

Age UK Wyvern:

Provides dementia cafés, cognitive stimulation therapy, and tailored emotional and practical support for people living with dementia and their carers. Tel: 0333 038 3711. Email: dementia-wellbeing-service@ageukwyvern.org
