A list of websites and organisations that can offer first‑step support, advice, and guidance if you’re struggling or want to talk about how you’re feeling.

Resources:

  • Hub of Hope — The Hub of Hope is the UK’s leading mental health support database. It brings local, national, peer, community, charity, private and NHS mental health support and services together in one place.
  • Herefordshire and Worcestershire Wellbeing and Recovery College — Courses and workshops for anyone aged 18+ in Herefordshire and Worcestershire to assist with developing tools, skills and understanding to support mental wellbeing. Patients can register for support via the website, by contacting 0300 302 0458 (Mon – Fri 9:30 – 4:30pm) or by emailing HW_WellbeingRecoveryCollege@comfirst.org.uk.
  • Every Mind Matters — Every Mind Matters is a campaign run by NHS England, which features the mental health tool My Mind Plan at the heart of their resources and advice for those facing mental health problems. 
  • Worcestershire Community Services Directory — The Community Services Directory is a platform for all residents in Worcestershire to find helpful information about registered health and wellbeing groups, services, and activities locally and across the county.
  • Herefordshire Talk Community Directory — The Talk Community Directory is a website for all residents in Herefordshire. It provides helpful information and advice, local groups and activities and details of events in the county.

Helplines:

  • SHOUT text service — Shout’s mental health professionals are available 24/7 and can help if you’re feeling stressed, isolated or low. Text REACHOUT to 85258 from anywhere in the UK to start a conversation.
  • PAPYRUS Hopeline 24/7 — For those under the age of 35 who wish to talk about their struggles. They can help you understand your thoughts and what to do with them. Available 24/7. Call 0300 102 2470 or text HOPE to 88247.
  • Mind — Mind offers mental health advice, support, and resources. Call 0300 123 3393 (Monday to Friday, 9am — 6pm).
  • Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)Call CALM on 0800 58 58 58 (5pm – midnight every day) if you are struggling and need to talk.
  • Samaritans — Whatever you're going through, Samaritans will answer your call 24/7. Call 116 123 if you need to talk.
