NHS mental health Trust launches winter wellbeing campaign

Winter MH 2022

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust have launched a new campaign promoting wellbeing and mental health support throughout the winter months.

As the main provider of mental health services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the Trust want to ensure the public know how to access support should they need it over the festive period.

The campaign highlights the range of mental health and wellbeing support available across both counties, from wellbeing advice to online therapy, to more urgent support for someone experiencing a mental health crisis.

The Now We’re Talking website hosts information and guidance to support people to look after their wellbeing, along with more targeted resources to help manage symptoms such as stress, anxiety or low mood.

From the website, users can also access services like SilverCloud, a free online therapy service accessible daily, including throughout the bank holidays.

Anyone needing more urgent support, for example if they have an urgent concern about their mental health or that of a loved one, can contact the Herefordshire and Worcestershire 24/7 urgent mental health helpline on 0808 196 9127. The service is open to residents of all ages, across of both counties.

Information on alternative local help, including Safe Havens and how to make a referral for more targeted support can also be found on the website: www.nowweretalking.nhs.uk
