Bank holiday arrangements - Monday 19th September 2022

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust logo - New

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Government has confirmed that Monday, September 19th has been publicly declared as a national bank holiday.

Therefore some of our services will be operating at a reduced capacity and other services will be closed. If you are directly affected by this, for example if we need to reschedule an appointment, we will contact you directly either by phone or in writing. If you have an appointment scheduled for Monday, 19th and you do not hear from us, then please assume your appointment is going ahead as planned.

If you wish to cancel your appointment on Monday, 19th please contact the team or service supporting you or our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01905 681517. We will do our best to reschedule your appointment as soon as we can.

Our Minor Injury Units will remain open, offering offer advice and treatment for a variety of injuries including cuts, sprains, strains, minor burns and minor eye injuries at locations across Worcestershire. View locations and opening times.

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Urgent Mental Health Helpline is also unaffected and will continue to provide a 24/7 service to anyone needing urgent mental health support and advice.
