A statement from the Trust
We work hard to maintain a culture which promotes equality and diversity and would like to reassure our patients, the community and the wider public that we do not tolerate any form of prejudice or discrimination. We do not, and will not accept racism in any part of our organisation and will take appropriate action to address any problems that arise.
Following a recent comment from a member of staff on their personal social media account, we have taken steps to reiterate expectations and responsibilities to all our staff and have investigated this incident in line with our internal processes.
